Throughout the firm’s long history, personalities of the global jet set chose to dress with the creations of Nikos and Takis. More specific, Elizabeth Taylor, Linda Evans, Sofia Loren, Ornella Mutti, Joan Collins, Jackie Onassis, Maria Callas, Ursula Andress, Demis Roussos and Nana Mouskouri are among the international clientele of the firm.

The Hotel

The mansion that today is the hotel of Nikos Takis was established by a very rich ottoman merchant to be used as a harem house for his summer vacation, bringing with him the most beautiful girls from his harem, each one of them in a different room. Once a week they used to visit the most majestic places in Rhodes island, and for this purpose he had a big carriage with two beautiful white horses, decorated with red saddles. And the years passed and the mansion was fully reconstructed by the Italians.

Later in the 1965 the famous fashion designers Nikos and Takis, buy the mansion in order to use it as their Fashion House for ‘haute-couture’ creations. Throughout the firm’s long history, personalities of the global jet set chose to dress with the creations of Nikos and Takis. More specific, Elizabeth Taylor, Linda Evans, Sofia Loren, Ornella Mutti, Joan Collins, Jackie Onassis, Maria Callas, Geraldine Chaplin, Ursula Andress, Demis Roussos and Nana Mouskouri are among the international clientele of the firm.

One Thousand and One Nights

At 2004 the mansion became a fashion boutique hotel. The designers Nikos and Takis with respect to the historical character of the Medieval Town and with all the modern comforts they created a friendly environment. The oriental-inspired decoration of the hotel fits perfectly with the mysterious and romantic aura of the Medieval Town, inviting guest to spent a ‘One Thousand and One Nights’ experience. Placed on the highest point of the Medieval Town next to the Clock Tower and a few steps from the Grand Master’s Palace and the Knights street, with a Panoramic view of the port , it is literally right in the heart of the biggest well-preserved castle in the world.

Furniture, lighting fixtures, beds all decorated with designs of the Nikos and Takis fashion house. We welcome you to a friendly-family environment, to enjoy our welcome drink during your arrival and while you wait to check-in. In all our rooms and suites you will find king size beds, the best coco-mat mattresses, a complimentary bottle of local red dry wine, a big bottle of water, a bowl of fruits, all the amenities, bathrobes , sleepers, deluxe bathrooms, a safe box, satellite TV, air-condition, Wi-Fi, mini-bar, hair-drier, umbrellas, a kettle, tea and coffee and beach towels. Enjoy our homemade Mediterranean breakfast, with fresh orange juice, top quality local products like eggs, cheese and milk, and of course our homemade desserts that we prepare will love and care every day for our guests. For us, Nikos Takis Fashion Boutique Hotel, there are no costumers, only good friends.

With respect to all our guests, smoking is allowed only in our veranda and garden.

Loved staying at this hotel ! Perfect location.. it's very quite and in the middle of the historical monuments. Stayed in their grand master room and it was perfect! Loved staying in some evenings and enjoying the view and jacuzzi) it definitely made my stay in Rhodes so much more enjoyable)

Wonderful hotel with great location. The service is just so good, the people running this place are so nice and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the bed is just so comfy. Excellent breakfast. Wished I coud have stayed longer. We will return to this hotel for sure.
